Elliott Museum

The Historical Society of Martin County operates the Elliott Museum and the House of Refuge Museum. The House of Refuge is the oldest building in Martin County, 1875, and the only remaining House of refuge in Florida. The Elliott Museum is a 46,000 sq. ft, state of the art facility with 100 classic cars, a large Americana, Baseball, and local history exhibit and collection, including a library and archive of martin County History.

Gumbo Limbo Nature Center

This 20-acre coastal preserve is an experience you can’t miss! Sea turtles, fish, and other marine animals swim in seawater tanks. Take a stroll though the butterfly garden and walk through the hardwood hammock along a boardwalk. Visit the Sea Turtle Rehabilitation Facility to learn about the sea turtle patients being cared for. Henry Morrison Flagler Museum

When it was completed in 1902, the New York Herald proclaimed that Whitehall, Henry Flagler's Gilded Age estate in Palm Beach, was "more wonderful than any palace in Europe, grander and more magnificent than any other private dwelling in the world." Today, Whitehall is a National Historic Landmark and is open to the public as the Flagler Museum, featuring guided tours, changing exhibitions, and special programs.
