The Historical Society of Martin County operates the Elliott Museum and the House of Refuge Museum. The House of Refuge is the oldest building in Martin County, 1875, and the only remaining House of refuge in Florida. The Elliott Museum is a 46,000 sq. ft, state of the art facility with 100 classic cars, a large Americana, Baseball, and local history exhibit and collection, including a library and archive of martin County History.
