Our mission is to preserve and share the heritage of Manatee County’s founding period (1840-1918) through our museum and collection of historical artifacts and buildings.

Old Manatee Picnic

Cemetery Tours

In the daylight of Spring, take a guided stroll through the 1850 Manatee Burying Grounds. Learn personal stories of those buried and the meaning of tombstone shapes & symbols. Two tours will take place at 11am and 2pm. Advance ticket purchase required:
