Built in 1841, the Union Bank is considered Florida’s oldest surviving bank building. For over a century, the building housed numerous businesses and organizations. Saved from demolition in 1971, the building was later moved, restored, and first opened as a museum in 1984. After another restoration in 2023, the building re-opened in 2024 with new exhibits, now managed by a partnership between the Florida Department of State and the Meek-Eaton Black Archives at Florida A&M University. Open Thursday through Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
